Home What's On Quiet Gardens

St. Lawrence's is not a parish church, but aims to be a pilgrimage church, similar to places on the continent where people go for refreshment, prayer and spiritual development. e.g. St. Benoit-sur-Loire.

The aim of such places is to encourage both Christians and others whose religious aspirations are much more general.
St. Lawrence's tries only to provide the space in which the presence of God may be perceived by Christians and by the religious senses of many others.
