About the Centre

The Centre set in Norfolk’s Broadland, 12 miles from Norwich & 11 from Great Yarmouth, St Lawrence’s is a former church that has been restored.  Hosting  exhibitions, concerts, and workshops, the centre can also be hired by individuals, groups or organisations for private receptions or public events.

Sunday Plus.  

Sunday Plus activities for children and young people take place on a monthly basis 10 am - 12 noon.  Activities include crafts, music and drama.  Coffee, pastries and papers are provided for accompanying adults.  

The Quiet Garden

St Lawrence’s is a member of the Quiet Gardens Association, aiming to be a pilgrimage church where individuals find spiritual refreshment and prayer.

Sacristan’s Garden

Alongside the beautiful restored medieval building, a Sacristan’s Garden has been created which everyone can enjoy at any time.

Friends of St Lawrence Centre

The Centre is largely supported by donations, income from events and voluntary help of the Friends of St Lawrence’s.  Friends enjoy reduced ticket prices to concerts.  To become a friend or to request emails about events please see the contacts page.
